Animal Documentaries

This book is the student-initiated action from first grade at Taejon Christian International School, South Korea. It is a culmination of the inquiry-based learning that occurred within the PYP transdisciplinary theme “Sharing the Planet”. In pairs or individually, students researched an animal of their choice, watercolored a cover artwork, collaborated with their teacher to create a script, sourced Creative Commons images to illustrate their research, and finally narrated and produced their documentary using Explain Everything. Students were proud of their accomplishments and wanted to share their learning with the world.
